The Family Behind The Farm
Our city kids completed a 4-H poultry project in 2022 and the number one thing we ALL learned was “Chickens Are The Funniest Pets”!
This led us to do the only LOGICAL and RATIONAL thing: pack up our city chickens and move to a little plot of land to grow our flock.
Each year our flock (and knowledge) grows. From our six OG chickens to us hopeful farmers becoming outnumbered (and it’s kinda unsettling). Our heritage and fancy chicken flock has expanded to other livestock. From our US developed wool and hair sheep, heritage pigs, and turkeys each member is loved.
Here’s where you come in. As you enjoy our pet hen’s eggs, celebrate Thanksgiving with one of our turkeys, or warm your belly with our pork and lamb your purchase helps us keep this LOGICAL and RATIONAL little dream going. (Which causes more laughter and joy.)

Pigs (KuneKune): Big Mama, Chunky, Mr Pig (who’s actually a girl), Super Pig, Bacon, Cutie. A handful more that are looking for names.
Chickens: Bingo, Bluey, Natcho, Taco, Org, Fennec, Ferral Chicks, Nugget (Sir Reginald), Big Red, Stalker, Who are you?, Poppy, Pippy, Albert, Blanche, Aura, Ginger, Fluffy Feathers, Big Bird, Braveheart, Myrtle, Lily, Chicken Little, and so many more.
Turkeys: We call them all Sweetie.
